I received this email yesterday from Big Bunny. I am so jealous. I want to be on a plane away from here. I can't wait for Spring Break. I won't be on a plane but I will not be in school either. I'm counting down the days ~ 11 school days, 3 concerts/performances, 5 days of parents in my classroom. Oh God, help me!

Last night, I was walking Big Bunny to the door. When I opened the door, there were SNOW flurries again! This is the fourth time since January we have had snow or flurries in Alabama. This is some crazy weather. On Monday, I was wearing short sleeves! Now I am wearing layers and I'm still freezing. What gives?
I totally forgot to tell ya'll that I saw Pauly Shore in an elevator on Friday night. Big Bunny (new friend) and I were at a local bar and as we were leaving we went to the parking deck via the elevator. As we were TRYING to exit the elevator, this rude person with his stick figure lady friend ran into me. It turns out it was Pauly Shore. He did say, "excuse me." So, I didn't go off on him for not waiting until we exited the elevator.
UPDATE #2: I think I fixed it. I had to do a whole new blog. SO we'll see. I hope this works.
UPDATE: I WILL FIX THIS LATER! I HAVE TO GO TO WORK. NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED. SORRY!

Saturday I went to a wedding with one of my friends, Ashley. Katie Jane's sister was the beautiful bride. I loved her choice of music, especially the recessional, "Finale B" from Rent ~ otherwise known as "No Day but Today"! Wonderful! Katie Jane also sang a couple of songs, which were delightful.
After the wedding, Ashley and I ventured into Montevallo to Eclipse Coffee House. I had a white hot chocolate. Yumm-0! We were invited to Katie Jane's after the reception. We went to pick up my car and go to Walmart to buy some more comfy clothes. With gas as high as it is, it was cheaper to buy new clothes than drive home and back. Crazy. (I got some valentine pj pants on clearance, clearance shirt, and cheap-o flip flops.) We went to visit with KJ, Maggie, and KJ's family. We had a delightful time and I even got some reception leftovers. After the family left, we went to eat Chinese.

Winston must have really wanted on the bed tonight. He has not been able to jump on the bed since March when I bought a new mattress set. He gets a running start and leaps...right into the side of the mattress. Well, here I am in bed checking some blogs and what happens, but Winston taking a flying leap and landing in my lap! I don't know how he did it because he didn't even run. He just leaped. He's been practicing since March. Well, welcome to the bed. How can I kick him out? He loves me so much and just wants to be with me. At least one male does.
I think I might just start referring to Feb. 14th as VD. I think it's an appropriate name. Anyway...
I went out to dinner with two of my girl friends. We ate Mexican food. Yippee! We tried a place none of us had been. I enjoyed it. I hope they did too. After dinner we dropped one friend off at her car because she is sickly. Then my other friend and I went to the mall. I really hate shopping for something in particular. I have no problem with looking around if I don't have to have something specific. When it comes to looking for, oh let's say a dress to wear to a wedding on Saturday, I really HATE to shop. We went to at least five stores and looked for dresses. I hate to spend money, so I was looking for cheap dresses. Well, there are none that are attractive. So I ended up back at the first store with one of the first dresses I saw. I tried on several before this one because I didn't like the price tag attached to the dress. Oh well, I tried it on and it was cute. So I decided it would be my dress for the wedding and my dress for Easter. I have a wedding I am in this summer, it might work for that one too. I'll have to check with the bride. KJ helped me pick out a necklace that we found out was on super sale. WooHoo to KJ for the find. So hopefully this dress will be worth the credit card I put down for it.
Now I am getting ready for bed. I am exhausted. Next year and every year after, remind me NOT to have after school choir rehearsal with 4th and 5th graders on Valentine's Day. They were OUT OF CONTROL on their sugar high today. Don't worry, I gave them "Fun Dip" valentines. Oh yeah, more sugar!
