Welcome to Avenue Q!

I had a wonderful weekend. Tiring, but wonderful.

Friday, Big Bunny got in town early enough to catch the last five minutes of my last class. After school, we went to eat and to the mall. We walked around and then decided to go to my house. We watched t.v. and were very lazy! Yea!

Saturday I went to ATL to see Avenue Q. It is a Broadway show that uses puppets. It's like Sesame Street for adults. I LOVED it! It was wonderfully politically incorrect and so funny! I never knew I could relate to a puppet. If you do not get offended easily, you should check it out. It's great!

Saturday after the show, I rode back home and then to meet Big Bunny and his parents for dinner. We had a great time visiting even though I was exhausted and it was Prom night and the restaurant was very busy.

Sunday, Big Bunny and I headed to see the Blue Angels fly. Prior to the Angels, there were several flight exhibitions. It was a super fun day. I wore sunscreen AND reapplied and still got burnt. I must have missed a few spots with the sunblock because only part of one arm is red, a little of the other arm, my chest, and neck. Do you think I got any sun on my legs? Well, no! That's where I need it the most. Oh well. We had a great time together and we were completely worn out when we got home.

Today started standardized testing at school and I am a proctor. I really wanted to take the day off, but I couldn't. I am soooooo tired from my AWESOME weekend!

I hope everyone had a fun filled weekend and continue to have a great week.

Back to work

Well, there's nothing like work to get me bummed. Oh well. Today was not bad, but it was work. We had an extra long faculty meeting. Ugh! Even the principal was getting antsy and told the presenter to hurry. HeeHee.

After work, I decided to stop at the "farmers market". It's really a veggie/fruit stand but it's in a building not in the back of a pick up off the side of the road. However, they are not open on Mondays! Pooh! So I decided to try this other one out, but it was horrible. The strawberries looked like shriveled nastiness. Don't even get me started on the science project they called lettuce. I did get a good cantaloupe, some plums, tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers. But that was it! That's sad. I had high hopes for tonight's salad. Oh well.

I decided I might need to check my cell minutes because Big Bunny has been in TN for a week and will be there yet another week :( I have 900 plan minutes with about 1300 rollover minutes and I recently upgraded to unlimited texting. According to the last internet update, I have used 963 minutes and 847 texts! I used to not even have a texting plan and then I went to the very basic 200 plan that I NEVER went over! Now I am sending over 847 texts and I still have 10 days left in my bill cycle! Well, thank God for rollover minutes from when I never talked on my phone. I might need to look into unlimited minutes! That is crazy. I looked at other providers but it was cheaper for me to stay where I am. I am cell crazy!

Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I did and I ate way too much. I drove home last night and was exhausted from my Spring Break.

Spring Break Day 6

Well, I am here to update the rest of my week. Thursday I got up and got ready to drive to B.M. I made the almost four hour drive and put Winston in the fence to be a yard dog for a weekend. He has a girlfriend so he's happy. I visited with Beth and Ella Grace for a while and then met mom and Richard for dinner. After, I went to Granny's and Dad's to visit. We played the wii! Granny is 88 and has NEVER played a video game. She loved the bowling. Dad and I did our fitness test and he was 34 on his first try! Uuuuugggghhh! That's not fair. We also boxed. It was fun. Then I went to mom's and she was asleep. I was making my bed in the guest room and something shattered in another room. I rushed out to see what it was but couldn't find it. Mom came out and I asked if I was ok. I said yes and that I didn't know what had broken. We looked around and she found the culprit. The light globe in the bathroom had shattered. Glass was everywhere! It was on the sink, floor, toilet, tub, EVERYWHERE! So we started cleaning it up. Afterward, I asked if she was tired or if she wanted to play wii. She decided to play and we played until 1 a.m.! We played my new game that Jamey (my little brother) sent me, Rayman's Raving Rabbids. It was super fun.

Friday, we slept late. I got up and played wii until mom woke up. Then we went to get some lunch. When we returned, a former babysitter needed a ride to get some medicine. So I took her to get it. Then I helped mom get the house ready for visitors on Sunday. Then we went to Walmart for groceries. We bought Granny an Easter Lily and delivered it to her. Then we went through the Taco Bell drive through. Mom was playing Rayman when I went to bed.

Today, I got up and came to Granny's and Dad's again. We are chatting and watching TV. Later today, mom, her grandkids, and I are going to an Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny! I have to remember to get my camera! It should be fun. Mom says there will be alot of activities for the kids. Then we are going SHOPPING! Belk has Yellow Box flip flops on sale! For those of you who know me, you know that's all I wear during the warm months. I have seen at least three pair I want this year. I am also looking for a dress for a wedding I am in this summer. Baba (my mom's mom) is coming to see us today too! Yea! I haven't seen her since Christmas. I am going to make her play the wii too!

Tomorrow we will go to church with mom. After, she has about a million people coming over for lunch! We are having some yumm-o food. Then I will travel back home tomorrow afternoon/night.

For those inquiring minds, Big Bunny will be in Nashville another week. We have talked/texted everyday. He'll be home Friday or Saturday. I will be in ATL on Saturday. So we are working out when we will see each other. Soon, I hope.

Happy Easter!

Spring Break Day 2

Sandy and I played Guitar Hero at three different places today, Best Buy, Circuit City, and her house. We started our day at Jack's for breakfast. Then we headed to Best Buy where I purchased a wii travel bag and she purchased a new wii game. Then we headed to the bank for me to make a deposit and then off to Walmart. We both bought dog food and a few other things. Then we proceeded to the pet store and I purchased a container for my dog food. We headed to the circuit city and she purchased a web cam and then we walked to Ross Dress for Less. I purchased a cute little black dress. It is super fun, more beachy than just to wear around. We went to Ulta and decided not to purchase $40 in shampoo and conditioner. We went our separate ways for a few hours and then met back up for a snack and dinner. While we were apart, I only purchased a pretzel and a lemonade. We met back up for a little guitar hero and dinner. After dinner we flew a kite. It was HILARIOUS!! We finally got it to work for a short time.

Here are some pics of my new wii bag!!!! Yea!!!!

I'm calling Shenanigans!

Today I bought 20 lbs of dog food for Winston. I needed a place to keep this food fresh, so Sandy and I traveled to the pet store to find a food storage container. I found one on clearance that said it would hold 30 lbs. I called shenanigans because it was so small. So I took of picture of the food in the container.

Here is the final picture. I was right. It certainly did not hold 30 lbs. It didn't even hold 20 lbs! Oh well.

Spring Break Day 1

Today I have been a busy bee. I woke up and made a grocery list. I went to the dentist, ate lunch, and played some wii. I went to the eye doctor, cut grass, and did some laundry (including putting it away. That never happens). I started working in my guest room. It's almost clean and organized. I washed a load of dishes. I called Hannah Home to come pick up some no longer needed items. I got the deposit ready for my professional organization. Currently I am in bed thinking about tomorrow.

Tomorrow, I will be meeting Sandy early in the morning for breakfast. Afterward, we are heading to the Apple store and a bookstore. Who knows what will happen after that excitement. I can only imagine.

My mom informed me that we were invited to an egg hunt this coming Saturday. The Easter Bunny himself will be there. So I plan to take some pics, maybe with the Easter Bunny. I can't wait.

I'll keep you posted on my progress. I am pretty pleased with today.

Helicopters, Bunny, and Wii. Oh my!

This first weekend of Spring Break was fun filled! I went to my first remote control helicopter flying thingy with Big Bunny. It was in a cow pasture! Friday night we ordered pizza from the local Hut and it was the BEST pizza I had had in a long time! But I digress. I watched remote control helicopters fly around in this pasture all weekend. The best part was at night when some helis had glow in the dark cable things and glow sticks in the blades. You could only see the lights spinning in the sky. So cool. We went back to the pasture on Saturday afternoon. We went to eat at Jim N Nicks for lunch. Yummy! Now, I read most of the time I was in the cow pasture but it was nice spending time with Big Bunny.

The rest of the weekend Big Bunny and I played wii! I had so much fun. I am a "pro" at bowling, for the time being anyway. I lose pro status and then gain it back.

Today we went to the mall and around town looking for a wii bag. I have found the one I want but I can't bring myself to spend the money on it. We ate lunch at Wings and it was super yummy. Big B left this afternoon a little before 4:00 headed to Nashville for a couple of weeks. So, hopefully I can be productive with my Spring Break and complete my to do list. I have even added items to the list!

So tonight I did my wii fitness test. I have taken it the past three nights. The first night I was 70 something and then last night I was 65. Today I'm 32! WooHoo! I'm getting younger!

Tap Dancing Outlaw!

It's finally here! Jesco White: The Tap Dancing Outlaw! I can't wait to watch it. Big Bunny and I have plans to watch it tomorrow night! WooHoo! It is so funny. It's a documentary about a mountain dancer. You should see it. It's hilarious!

Wii shall have fun!

So, yesterday my friend, Sandy, found me a Wii! WooHoo! She and her husband, Mr. D, were shopping at the Costco and the sales associate was stocking the Wii. They called me but I was in a workshop and therefore did not answer the phone. So Sandy called me again and texted me. So I knew I needed to get out of that workshop ASAP! So I took a break and called her back. She told me about the great deal. The bundle included the wii with wii sports, wii play, Mario Galaxy, an extra nunchuck, and controller. This was an AWESOME bundle! I have been trying to ebay for one of these with less stuff and they were going for over four hundred dollars and close to five hundred. I was NOT going to spend that cash. This bundle was $350! I couldn't believe it! So I totally told them to buy it and I would come get it after the workshop. And so I did. I came home and set it up, took my fitness test, boxed, and bowled. I was having a blast! And then..... Big Bunny came over. He was too tired to play! What?! How can you be too tired for the wii?! He's erroneous. Oh well. I guess I'll have to play today!

Happy Wii everybody!
